Environmental Photography Award 2025

The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation Environmental Photography Award is an annual competition, now in its sixth year, created with the aim of rewarding photographers whose creative purpose serves to raise awareness about the protection of the environment.
The best photographs will be presented in the framework of an exhibition in the Principality of Monaco and tour in various locations around the world. They will also be displayed in a photography book which will be distributed to the Foundation’s partners and benefactors.
Submissions are welcome across 5 categories:
- Ocean
- Forests
- Polar regions
- Changemakers
- Humanity Versus Nature
DEADLINE PERIOD:
Sunday 2nd November 2025
OPEN COMPETITION:
Open worldwide to photographers aged 18 or over.
Winner prize details:
The title “Environmental Photographer of the Year 2026”
5,000 € grant
Invitation (including travel and accommodation) to the inauguration of the 2026 award exhibition in the Principality of Monaco.
